The images were generated with Midjourney using detailed design descriptions that used our imaging equipment. Desert and coastal residences imagined in Joshua Tree, Santa Barbara, and San Diego, CA utilize a variety of building materials, architectural shapes, and design details to complement the natural environment. From midcentury modern to contemporary architecture, geodesic domes, tiny glass homes, sprawling steel and concrete mansions, and a museum among the rocks and cacti in the Mojave Desert, each output exceeded expectations. Attempting to generate more intricate details and additional images of the same subject from different perspectives and focal lengths was impossible with current software capabilities. For now, usage seems limited to initial concept development through prompt generation for many applications.
